FOR OPERATORS. BY AN OPERATOR.
The Vending Blueprint
The Complete Operator's Guide to Finding Locations, Stocking Smart, and Turning Vending Machines into Reliable Monthly Income
I never believed the wads of cash I saw coming out of vending machines on TikTok.
Not because the opportunity is not real. But because passive income does not come from a fifteen-second video. It comes from buying the right machine, placing it in the right location, stocking it with what people actually buy, pricing it with margin logic, and maintaining it like the business asset it is.
I am an MBA business professional who tested the TikTok thesis for myself. The honest verdict: easy? No. Doable? Absolutely.
This book is what I learned building Pura Vida Air from a sketch on paper to a network of operating locations — including every mistake, every failed placement, and every hard lesson that most vending books skip entirely.
This book is for you if...
✓ You have seen the social media vending content and want the honest version of what it actually takes
✓ You are starting from zero and want a clear, sequential system rather than scattered YouTube advice
✓ You want a side income stream that does not require being online 24/7
✓ You have already placed one or two machines and know something is not working, but are not sure what
✓ You are building a route and need a repeatable framework for locations, stocking, pricing, and operations
Written by an operator. Not an observer.
Most vending books are written by business generalists or content aggregators who have never operated a single machine. They cover the theory without the operational detail that actually matters when you are standing in a 100-degree Florida warehouse watching chocolate melt and wondering where your 300 daily visitors went.
The Vending Blueprint is built from more than 40 blog posts and years of real route operation, covering things most competing books never mention:
• The $5 bill taped to a bag of chips that still did not move (and the pricing lesson underneath it)
• The condo placement that failed because the machine was on the wrong floor, not because vending does not work at condos
• The mold incident that almost ended a location relationship and exactly how it was handled
• The emergency animal clinic that became the strongest site on the route because of a sick Labrador named Peaches
• The six-month net profit review that revealed a spending pattern heading in the wrong direction — and the correction that followed
These are not hypothetical scenarios. They are documented operational experiences that produced the system this book teaches.

About the author
I am an MBA business professional who saw the TikTok vending content and decided to test it with discipline rather than faith. I understood that vending is the most elementary form of business that exists: buy something for a low price, sell it for a better price, repeat. With a low bar to entry and a testable hypothesis, I wanted to see whether I could successfully start and maintain an unattended retail business.
Those old "sell grit" ads in the back of comic books had the right idea. You do not need a special background to build something real. You need the willingness to treat it like a business from day one, learn from the mistakes that are coming regardless, and keep going after the ones that make you want to quit.
Pura Vida Air LLC operates a network of vending locations including a 24-hour emergency animal clinic where the machine is named after a Labrador named Peaches. This book is everything built and learned along the way.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need prior business experience?
No. This book is specifically designed for complete beginners with no business background. Chapter 1 starts with the fundamental mindset shift and works forward from there. If you understand 'buy low, sell higher, repeat,' you understand the premise.
How is this different from free content on YouTube and Facebook?
Free content gives you fragments. This book gives you a sequential, tested system with the honest operational detail that most creators omit because it does not make good short-form content — the failed placements, the pricing mistakes, the exit decisions, the financial framework. It also includes working tools you can use immediately: the location agreement template alone is worth the purchase price to many operators.
I already have one or two machines. Is this still useful?
Yes — potentially more useful than for a beginner. Chapters 7 through 12 cover the operational and financial disciplines that determine whether an existing operation grows or stalls. If your machines are underperforming, Chapters 4, 7, and 12 specifically address the three most common reasons and the exact corrective process.
What format is the book?
PDF, delivered as an immediate download after purchase. All appendix tools are included in the same download package.

Start building today
Vending is not complicated. What makes it hard is starting without a system, placing machines without a framework, and trying to diagnose problems without the operational language to describe what is going wrong.
This book gives you the system. The rest is execution.
The operators who build durable routes are not the ones who got lucky. They are the ones who treated every machine as a business asset and every decision as a data-driven one. That starts on the first page.
